This is my maths task my teacher told me to do. I am learning to identify 10's in three digit numbers my number that my teacher gave me was $290 dollars. I had to figure out how many tens I needed and I had 29 tens that made $290 dollars. It is really easy to know how many tens are in three digit numbers because you just take the first two numbers out of the three digit numbers and then the numbers you have let will be the $1 dollar coins.
