6 times table recall

This is my 6 time tables recall our learning intention was to quickly recall our 6 times tables. We first had to write 6 x tables 10 times from 1-12 second I played a game.

Today I learnt the meaning of the word Playwright it means a person who writes plays.

Today we did a problem solving activity This my maths problem that my partner and I did. We had to make the numbers 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 equal to a total of 100 using multiplication,subtraction,division and addition.

This is a problem I had to solve. It was very challenging

Remembrance day at P.B.S

This Morning the whole school had a ceremony to commemorate and celebrate Anzac Day. We were remembering the soldiers that died and the soldiers who sacrificed their lives for their country. Staff  sergeant Stacey Lock. It is the centenary (100th year). We remember and respect what they have done for us. In tribute to our fallen heroes lest we forget.

My Spelling Results

This is my spelling results I got 100% which is really good. I learnt and new and it is embargoes it means hindrance,obstruction.

Headscount

Headscount this is something we had to do for maths created it with some of my classmates. I was very fun to do we used Google slides to do it.

The second is one of the waka's that came. The third is my class of 2015. The last is the spelling test results I have done today.

Term 1 Collage and Reflection

The thing I enjoy most about Term 1 is Tech  because, I love cooking.

I learnt how to make a Sponge Cake at Tech because,we were learning how to do cooking at home.

I found the IKAN Test a bit tricky because there were some hard question and you only got a certain time.

My favourite subject in Term 1 is maths because, I love solving algorithm problems.

I would like to improve on my Writing.

I have really enjoyed Tech this term because, we have been cooking delicious treats.

Spelling test

I did this spelling test today I got them all right which I am pleased with. I got 100% which is amazing. I loved all these words words but they were a bit challenging. Any ways in the end I had learnt new words that I could use for writing. 

Malama Honua

Today a total of 12 schools went down to Point England Reserve. Were all called Manaiakalani. 2000 students were there. It is the 40th anniversary for Malama Honua. We sang three songs that went by the names of He Honore,E oho & Nga Waka. They followed the stars of the Manaiakalni.

Duffy Role model_Shavaughn Ruakere

Today we had Shavaughn Ruakere come into our school and she was out duffy Role Model.

You would have seen her in Shortland street and she played (Roimata Ngatai)

Her message was to read books

Her laugh was funny and also she called Gozan Gerzan

We did a spelling test today and I got 100%. The words were very easy.

This is a piece of art that I did in class we had to draw pictures that relates back to my family i did a rugby ball for my dad a ninja turtle for my brother a tomato garden for my nana tinker bell for my mum. I had heaps of fun doing this.

Brochure_Niue

In Room 6 we made two brochures but Im only putting one up. We did inside and outside. This one is the inside template. We had to research about one of our cultures for me it was Niue so I researched and it came up with heaps of stuff. 

What is your favourite food?

I surveyed 4 people in my class (Room6)
I wanted to know what their favourite food was.
Each person had a different food (25%) liked Chocolate
(25%)  liked Pizza (25%)  liked Butter Chicken
(25% liked something else which was other.
